Microsoft shuts down all Lumia twitter accounts, goes for a name change
Microsoft are no newbies to picking their investments wisely and when it comes to taking their time with the investments too till it yields good fruit, they are not to be left behind. That is why it was not surprising some years ago when the software giant wanted to delve into the world of smartphones and invested heavily into Nokia then. With this move, it just took a while to decide to ditch the entire Nokia branding name and go for only Lumia instead. After that move, they proceeded down the line by taking down this name and giving “Microsoft Mobile” preference instead.
This is a move that they have launched in a bid to further identify with the smartphone market better and keep their head above water, especially with the fact that it is sure that the concept of Windows phones might not be something that the world is ready for right now.
Today, the dedicated twitter account for the Lumia devices, @LumiaHelp, started to direct all of its user complaints and problems to the main @MicrosoftHelps account. We are just hoping this step is another one in the right way for the global software giant.
