Microsoft’s acquisition of Nokia to be sealed on April 25th
April 23 is the day the “perfect smartphone” will be unveiled. Two days after that, Nokia’s acquisition by Microsoft will be completed.
Microsoft agreed to buy Nokia Services and Nokia Devices department for $7.2 billion back in September 2013, and has since faced a lot of approval setbacks for the deal to be completed.
The bloggers at Nokia’s blog sounded rather excited to say that Nokia will close down it’s mobile phone business on April 25th while everything is transferred to new owners, Microsoft.

Espoo, Finland – Nokia today announced that it expects the transaction whereby the company will sell substantially all of its Devices & Services business to Microsoft to close on April 25, 2014. The transaction is now subject only to certain customary closing conditions.
The transaction was originally announced on September 3, 2013.
