Moto G5 (Standard) leaks extensively for the first time
Just yesterday, we brought you some news on the latest units that are being prepared by Motorola and then, we got a look at the smaller one of the options which had been shying away from the news for a while. Named the Moto G5 and G5 Plus respectively, the latter unit has been in the habit of hogging all of the spotlight to itself and yesterday marked a change of fortune for the smaller brother.
Today again, the Moto G5 has emerged in a series of new leaks that are coming out of Brazil. The reginal version has the model number XT1672 had its key specs published today, and we are in for some surprises.
As expected, this one has a smaller form factor with a 5-inch screen which also has the 1080p screen. Coming out of the box with the Android Nougat 7.0 already pre-installed, a snapdragon 430 chipset is somewhere under the hood and it couples that with 2GB of RAM.
Even though this is not as impressive as the specs on the bigger brother, it does allow for a much cheaper option from the same generation.
Not to forget, the back of this unit is supposed to house a 13MP snapper and on the front, a sensor rated at 5MP. The battery capacity is nothing to write home about, packing just 2800mAh. This is also different from the 3000mAh we got from FCC earlier.
The units are supposed to launch soon, so we won’t be keeping our fingers crossed for too long.
