Motorola launches Moto G (2015) with 4G in Brazil
Motorola’s top-selling smartphone got a 4G makeover in Brazil where it got relaunched as the Motorola Moto G 4G (2015).
Naturally, you wouldn’t expect any changes in hardware but Motorola added extra capacity to the battery making it bigger at 2,390mAh. This is obviously due to the fact that LTE requires more power than older connections. The phone also got 6 grams heavier than the original Moto G (2014).
The rest of the specs for the Moto G 4G (2015) includes a 5-inch HD display, 16GB of storage, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone uses an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2MP front-facing selfie snapper. Meanwhile, the software is powered by Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.
Pricing for the Motorola Moto G 4G (2015) is set at BRL 899 which is equivalent to using the current exchange rates. The handset is already available on sale in Brazil through a couple of retailers. For now there’s no word on when the device will launch outside the Latin American country.
