New benchmark sightings hints at OnePlus 3 mini
Earlier today, we brought to your attention the latest as concerns the OnePlus company and this news had to affect the OnePlus 3, stating that its availability in the European market (well some, not all at this point) is null and the company has stopped sales pending the time that it can restore the units back to the stores of its stores.
Apparently, OnePlus want to be in the news for another reason today as we have just recently seen a benchmark test on GFXBench that truly has nothing to do with the OnePlus 3 but on closer observation, you just can’t help but smell some OnePlus 3 flavour cooking in there.
So, what did we see? Well, from GFXBench, the device comes at a screen size of 4.6 inches which is then set at a resolution of 1080 x 1920. Under the hood is the premium snapdragon 820 processor and this is married to the massive 6GB RAM inside the device, packing an impressive 64GB internal storage at the same time. It doesn’t stop here as it also couples its 16MP rear camera to what we feel is going to be a powerful 8MP front shooter.
From the above, you would see that the only variation to the original OnePlus 3 is the screen size and this might just be the mini approach the company wants to take – keep the features but shrink the screen. For now, though, we can only hope.
