New Nokia device, Nokia D1C, shows up on GeekBench
The lovers of Nokia were greatly shocked when the Finnish company announced a deal that they had made with Microsoft in April of 2014, making it impossible for them to make devices and sell them under their own name for a certain period of time.
Now that the deal is gradually waning out and the once ruler of the smartphone scene would be given another shot at doing things over, we have very good news for you in the sense that we know they are planning to release at least three smartphones before this year runs out and of these, there would be handsets and tablets.
Now that we have entered the Q4 officially, it seems that Nokia is now getting down to real business as one of the smartphones that they are reportedly coming up with has visited a benchmark and given us specs to consider for now.
Running the GeekBench test almost for a total of five times on this unit, the handset which carries a name of Nokia D1C would be running the Android Nougat 7.0 and under the hood is a QUALCOMM snapdragon 430 chipset which as a clock speed of 1.4GHz. Having 3GB of RAM, we have no other info as regard the screen size, camera format or any other of such interesting information.
