Nokia 105 Dual SIM (2015) torchlight phone released in India
For those of us who’d like to use our modern smartphones while keeping a reliable feature phone as a standby device, there’s some good news here as Microsoft released the refreshed Nokia 105 phone in India on Monday.
More than 80 million units of the original Nokia 105 were sold upon its release in 2013 so it is clearly evident that there still exists a large market for feature phones amid the continuous global surge of smartphones.
The May 2015-announced Nokia 105 (also known as Nokia 105 (2015)) is priced at only 1,419 rupees in India — that’s barely $21 USD and a fraction of the price of an average smartphone, however, the battery life on this phone will be there when your smartphone deserts you in the lush
“With handsets like the new Nokia 105 Dual SIM, Microsoft brings very affordable mobile opportunities to more people,” Microsoft’s director of sales in India, Ravi Kunwar, said.
He added: “We are proud to announce the launch of the Nokia 105 Dual SIM, an essential tool for first-time mobile phone users as they start their journey into a connected world.”
