Nokia 2 officially released
HMD Global has in partnership with Nokia Incorporations launched the much-expected entry level device, Nokia 2, which has been spotted online weeks ago.
The device was launched in India at an event organized by the tech company some hours ago.
The Nokia 2 comes into the market sporting 6,000 series aluminum frame and a polycarbonate finishing on the back panel.
For specs, the 5.0-inch device comes into the market as the first smartphone to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor and this comes paired with Adreno 304 for graphics.
The device which boasts of a 1,280 x 720 pixels display resolution with the Gorilla Glass 3 layer on top for protection comes packing 1GB of RAM under the hood paired with a total onboard storage space of 8GB.
For optics, the Nokia 2 comes with an 8MP rear camera setup and on the front panel a 5MO camera with the ‘Bothie’ integration which allows users simultaneously use the front and rear camera.
Powering the Nokia 2 is a 4,100 mAh battery size which the smartphone company touts to be able to last up to 2 days on single charge.
The Nokia 2 will sell for about $115 and comes with the Android 7.0 Nougat OS on it with color options including Copper Black, Pure Black and White available for purchase.
