Nokia 8 touches Asia, Malaysia gets it first
Following the release of the dual camera setup Nokia 8 device some weeks ago, there had been several pre-orders for the device with the company, HDM Global and Nokia keeping mute on the distribution.
Recall that Nokia and HDM Global had earlier in the year released its first Android powered device and confined its distribution to the Chinese market leading to doubts on the circulation of its other devices.
However, to break the ice, the company has pushed the Nokia 8 into the Asian market with Malaysia being the first to get the Nokia 8 which comes packing a dual camera sensor on the rear panel and boasts of the “bothie” feature which allows users snap photos using both the front and rear camera at the same time.
The Nokia 8 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and is expected to cost over $545.
The Nokia 8 will be available for purchase in the Stainless Steel, Tempered Blue, Polished Blue color variants with the Polished Copper color variant expected to launch at a later date.
