Nokia 8 wasnt on display at CES – Qualcomm confirms
We got the Nokia 6 announced to us officially and we were very happy, but we weren’t planning to stop there. We went on to bring you the news of something we thought would be the Nokia 8 – the one that QUALCOMM displayed at CES and someone took a shot of – and we are sorry to come back here to burst your bubbles now.
Qualcomm had some devices which had the Snapdragon 835 chipset installed upon and these, they compared with others that had the SD 821 instead. What they are now telling us is that none of the units on display were the Nokia 8.
Coming in a message from a top official at QUALCOMM, it was stated that the smartphones used for the demonstrations were their own handiwork and they were built solely for the showcasing of the chipset technology to the world. If it is any good news, at least we know that the Nokia 6 is alive and well, and we can only expect the next release with patience now.
