Nokia N1 headed for India, Indonesia
Very soon, Indonesians and Indians will be able to purchase Nokia’s Android-powered tablet. Launched in China back in January, the Nokia N1 has gone ahead to win China’s “Tablet Of The Year” award before launching in Taiwan in the following months.
The N1 was imported in India for R&D purposes signaling that Nokia and Foxconn (who produces the tablets) are working to bring the N1 to the South Asian market.
In another development, the governing body which regulates electronics in Indonesia has cleared the N1 on 29 June. Following the approval, the award-winning slate looks ready to arrive the country soon.
