Nokia X2 to pack Meego, or even Symbian OS?
A new line has appeared on the teaser page Nokia set up for the new device that will purportedly get unveiled today.
We believe that Nokia X2 is going to come as a successor to the (failed) Nokia X that ran Android OS so we safely assumed that the X2 will run on Android traditionally, even if it’s the overly customized type of Android OS it’s predecessor was running.
But then, a new hint on the teaser page proves that we might be wrong after all. The statement read, “Sometimes we have to go back, to move forward.”
By going back, does Nokia mean that they are going to use Meego OS for the X2, or even the now-forgotten Symbain OS?
Or does Nokia actually mean it’s going against it’s earlier decision to not make Android smartphones?
Whatever it is, we’ll find out this morning by 8AM GMT.
