Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy S7 flagships to be delayed for some regions
Samsung has commenced the official rollout of the Nougat update to the units of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, but they have made it known that not all the markets where the device launched to would be getting it… at least, not for now.
One of such places is Singapore, and according to one of Samsung’s representatives, the natives of that region should not expect the Nougat on their flagships till next quarter.
From the attached screenshot, the representative has tried to give a rough estimate of when the update would be available, and April is the best approximation to be offered.
There have been a number of times when reps have gotten things wrong in the past, so we advise that you take this with a pinch of salt. Until we get an official word of confirmation from Samsung on this, we think it is just best to keep our fingers crossed.
