November 30 confirmed for Vivo X6 launch
Vivo has confirmed an event for November 30 where the company is geared up to launch the upcoming Vivo X6 device. With a confirmation from the company’s Weibo account of the lunch date and device name to be launched. The teaser post however did not reveal any details of the smartphone to be launched but the company has confirmed sometimes back that the smartphone will feature a 4GB RAM, split screen which will enable multi-tasking, fingerprint scanner and a dual fast charging technology with Rose, Rose Gold and Silver colour variants to be made available. The recent appearance of the Vivo X6 on Tenaa listing also made a few revelations as to what is under the hood which includes a 6-inch QHD display with screen resolution of 1440×2560 pixels powered by a MediaTek Deca-core (MT6795) Helio X20 SoC with 4GB of RAM and a 32GB of internal storage memory which is expandable via microSD card. The Vivo X6 is expected to run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS powered by a 4,000mAh battery with a 21MP rear facing camera and a 12MP front facing camera. The rear camera has LED flash for lighting and supports dual-SIM function and 4G LTE technology.
The Vivo X6 was also spotted on AnTuTu benchmark some weeks back but there seem to be a big difference from the specs spotted on AnTuTu and Tenaa as the chipset on which the smartphone will be running differed. With AnTuTu reporting the smartphone to run an Octa-core MT6752 chipset from MediaTek while Tenaa reports the smartphone will be running a Deca-core Helio X20 also from the same manufacturer.
