Official specs of the BB DTEK60 go live on Blackberry’s website
The DTEK60 has been leaked lightly for a while now and even though we are sure that we are getting this, we had to be cautious because we have been fooled by a device’s name before. However, the confirmation came fully when Blackberry made the error of publishing the spec sheet for this device on their own website even before they have announced it officially to the market.
The page in question was not supposed to be published and even though it was taken down soon after, it is now back on with the full specs of the device in full glare of everyone and a “coming soon” tag applied to it.
To furnish you on what you might have missed from various leaks, the 5.5 inch smartphone won’t have a keyboard but still ship with the Blackberry Convenience Key, using a QUALCOMM snapdragon 820 chipset with 4GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 32GB.
For the camera, the rear can record 4K videos and comes at 21MP, promising crystal clear and sharp images while the selfie lovers have been considered with a front module of 8MP. For the powering and running of everything, they have made provisions with a 3000mAh battery which is, sadly, non-removable.
