OnePlus 2: 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 810 SoC, USB Type-C port, “under $450” price
On July 27th, Chinese tech outfit OnePlus — which was formed following a break-away from Oppo joining forces with CyangenMod team last year — will be unveiling their second-ever handset.
The OnePlus 2, despite its “under $450” pricing (according to CEO Pete Lau), is almost getting the kind of media attention reserved for the arrival of Samsung and Apple flagships.
Via a Facebook update on Tuesday, OnePlus confirmed the 2 will sport a whopping 4GB of RAM. This adds to the few other things we already know about the unreleased smartphone like how a USB Type-C port will be present while a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor rocks the engine.
It’s too early to guess how well the OnePlus 2 will fare in specs but given the attention the 2014 flagship killer’s successor is receiving, we don’t expect things to turn out poor at all.
