OnePlus 2 could sport “full metal” build
OnePlus could be preparing to unleash a metal-covered sequel to the OnePlus One on July 27. CEO Liu Zuohu posted a teaser on his Weibo page hinting the development.
Even though my knowledge of Chinese is
a bit rusty null, Google Translate told me the chief executive asked his followers on the Chinese social network to define “full metal,” making no mention of the OnePlus 2 despite the upcoming flagship undeniably being the subject of the discussion.
Last year’s OnePlus One was released in a plastic body but OnePlus looks to have greatly fancied metal this time around and that’s why they are making the big switch. Not alone in this kind of s scenario, Samsung , Meizu and Huawei are some of the big names who switched from plastic to metal this year with their Galaxy S6, MX5 and Honor 7 flagships respectively.
