OnePlus One: “the perfect smartphone?”
We thought Pete Lau was joking when he left his VP role to Oppo to produce what he calls “the perfect smartphone”. OnePlus One did that very trick and made a worldwide standard in the market. The phone came out as a vengeance from the former executives of the company named Oppo. And, from the very first day, the phone had won the hearts of the gadget geeks around the world. This was certainly not the first time a phone with great specs and that too at a low price, but OnePlus One also had the quality to support the monster specs it packed. It all seemed like a dream as people thought whether the developers were out of their minds or not.
OnePlus One offers that magic to the people which they only dreamt about but nowhere had the chance to feel. It showed phone-lovers that there could be a “flagship killer” which will stay up to its reputation without any compromises. Despite it all, it did present itself with exotic designs making it one of the best phones in the market. The phone also gained popularity because of an invite system featured by the developers to sell it. Whoever wanted, it had to be invited at a particular time zone online where the winners or the ones chosen were allowed to buy the phone.
This main cause behind it was the limited availability of phones, but it did do the trick to fund the developers in building more. That is why it is now available without any invites. OnePlus One did leave a milestone where it gets full credit to be a world player. Competing with other major brands at one go is really impressive and that is what the phone offers to its customers. But, is the phone really that good? The real details had to be found out for which the phone’s features and specs are to be considered. So, let’s take a look if the phone is what it claims to be.

The phone definitely offers a clear and high resolution screen which is quite intriguing to look at. One will surely be impressed by the quality it offers. Colours and variations for the cover are also based upon real life textures such as sandstone, wood etc. Availability of fancy covers also adds up to the positive list for the phone. Overall weight of the phone is 162 g which might be heavy but the big screen makes it look just fine to hold in the hands.
Colours are quite vibrant making the phone to speak up to its own standards, for sure. There are some who prefer reputed brands. For such people too, this phone can be an exception as it is too good to be true. It still has given a rocking performance – even after more than a year to its release.

In addition, it also offers 3 GB RAM which comes with 12/64 GB internal memory. Unfortunately, an expandable card slot is not provided with it, but there is always an option for an upgrade in later models.
