Opening day sales: Xiaomi Redmi Note does a 50k in 6 seconds
Xiaomi is back with a bang. We’ve seen the privately-backed tech company sell a lot of phones under minimal time and today, during the first sale of it’s Redmi Note, Xiaomi recorded 50,000 orders for the phablet in 6 seconds.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note was sold at the price of INR 9,500 on Flipkart today and it’s highly likely the device will return in stock by next week’s Tuesday for another round of flash sale. Xiaomi had earlier promised to bring a better, LTE-capable version of the device called the Redmi Note 4G to the country later this month.
While many customers are not quite happy for the sales — not because of price or bad quality — many potential users customers couldn’t lay their hands on any unit before the product went out of stock.
However, a couple of smart guys have placed their spots up for grabs at an extra 500 to 5000 rupees. You can find these guys spamming on articles relating to the sales today and some even went to the extent of creating a listing on Ebay.in and other e-commerce websites in India.
