Oppo plans the launch of the Oppo R9S for the 19th of October
If there is one device that we are yet to get but we are expecting to see nothing new on as at the time of launch already, it has to be none other than the Oppo R9S. For this second build that would improve on what we saw on the former Oppo R9, they have not even tried to keep a lid on things as we have been seeing this one right from the age when it was only benchmark leaks we were treated to, to the time when live images became the order of the day and now, a lot of detailed information before the launch.
Sending out press invites, we now know for sure that they are planning to bring the device into the market officially on the 19th of October and on this day, a shanghai event would be hosted for the smartphone. Already, we know that it is due to come out of the box running a QUALCOMM snapdragon 725 chipset which is fused to 4GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 64GB.
The camera units have been designed at 16MP and this is what you would get on both the back and front of the device. Another massive upgrade over the R9 is the battery which has been stepped up to 3010mA and would also debut the company’s latest fast charge technology.
