Oppo R9s available for purchase officially in Australia
It has been a long time coming, but ‘better late than never’ is what the saying admonishes. For those in Australia that would love to get their hands on a unit of the Oppo R9s, you don’t need to jump through importing hoops and loops anymore as the device would be made available in that market too – officially. The device had already been put up for pre-orders and now, you can snag yourself a unit for AUD 600 – translating to some $450.
The various carriers that are offering the handset right now include Virgin Mobile, Vodafone, JB Hi-Fi, Optus and the guys at Woolworths Mobile. You can also pick up your own unit in different colour options which include black and white. For those of you that might have been following the handset for a while, we believe that you know there is a Red option somewhere out there, but you can’t have it yet.
For now, the Red hue has been made an exclusive of China, Taiwan and Singapore.
