Pictures of Meizu Mx4 Pro on Ubuntu make rounds again
Chinese phone maker Meizu and Canonical recently penned down an agreement that will see a Meizu smartphone running on Ubuntu OS in European and Chinese markets by next year.
The deal seems to be going very smoothly as we have just laid our hands on renders of a Meizu Mx4 Pro which is running on Ubuntu Touch OS instead of the default Android 4.4 KitKat/Flyme UI the smartphone debuted with back in November.
The Meizu/Ubuntu contract agrees that the first Ubuntu phones will start shipping as early as 2015 Quarter 1 so it’s normal we are seeing these kind of leaks for now.
