Pictures of Ubuntu-powered Mx4 Pro by Meizu surface
More and more gists of the yet-to-be-announced Meizu Mx4 Pro find their way into the headlines as its now more than obvious the Ubuntu-running smartphone is bound to be unveiled soon.
Though we haven’t gotten a specific date for the device, these pictures that were uploaded to the web this morning meant more than evidence of the existence of the phone, it also speaks that the release date is about to happen. The day which almost every Ubuntu OS lover highly anticipates.
The Mx4 Pro is expected to pack a 5.36″ display with 2,560 x 1,536 pixels in depth. Being the first mobile phone that will be running on Ubuntu, the device is powered by a high-end Samsung Exynos 5430 chipset and 3GB of RAM.
On the media side, Sony takes part of the camera hardware by providing a 20.7MP sensor for the rear and a 13MP shooter at the front.
Reports say a YunOS event has been scheduled for October 20 and the Mx4 Pro might be one of the candidates at the occasion.
