Possible Moto G successor recorded in benchmark tests
The Motorola Moto G has stayed for nearly a year and time is due for a successor, it seems. A possible heir to the Motorola flagship device recently left some footmarks on AnTuTu, the popular mobile benchmark application.
The Moto G was modeled as Motorola X1032 so there wouldn’t be any surprise if this Motorola XT1063 turns out to be the Motorola Moto G2.
Now, let’s get to the specs. The alleged Motorola Moto G2 is packing a 5-inch HD screen with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 processor clubbed with 0.8GB (1GB) of RAM steaming the engine.
The smartphone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system while the internal storage is listed as 4.5GB. There has been talks of a Moto G sucessor coming with a microSD card slot so memory issues shouldn’t be largely put into consideration here.
The rest of the specs for the Moto G2 will include an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2MP front-facer. Last year’s Moto G was released in November so we expect the G2 to go live around the middle of next month.
