Premium Huawei Honor 7 with fingerprint sensor launched at $300
And finally, we are here. Huawei has unleashed their much-anticipated Honor 7 handset and though no much surprises here (because we already know most of the specs, thanks to spoilers) the atmosphere is full of so much class.
Firstly, the phone’s aluminum body measures 143.2 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm while pressing the scale at 157 grams. Housing a 5.2-inch display with 1080p resolution, the Huawei Honor 7 comes in two memory variants: 16GB model and 64GB storage editions. Surprise, surprise — each come with a microSD card slot by the side of the device.
Under the hood, you’ll find a 64-bit Kirin 935 chipset, powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and another quad-core Cortex-A53 set which roars at 1.5GHz. The engine comes with a 3GB RAM and ARM’s Mali-T628 graphics card.
Loaded with NFC, Cat. 6 LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and AGPS, the Android 5.0 Lollipop smartphone is backed by a sealed battery with 3100mAh capacity. The battery can attain 50 percent of charge in just 30 minutes, thanks to its quick charging technology.
For photography, the Honor 7 is armed with a 20MP back shooter and dual-tone LED flash. The front houses a wide angle 8MP sensor for taking selfies. Just below the back camera, you’ll find a fingerprint sensor for all your “pinless” entries and authorizations.
