Now that the actual device has been officially launched by Motorola, we have all the official specifications to contend with also and not just some he-said she-said. The Verizon exclusive Motorola Droid Maxx 2 comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Processor 615 chipset clocking at 1.7GHz of frequency. There’s also an Adreno 405 GPU somewhere there.
The CPU comes with 2GB of RAM and there’s an internal storage memory of 16GB available on the device, user expandable too up to 128GB if the need for this ever comes up.
The 21MP rear camera and as well the 5MP front shooter all rely on 3630mAh of battery for their daily usage and the running of all other device functions. Out of the box, the device runs the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 version but there’s the option to upgrade to the latest Android 6 Marshmallow.
Additional features of the device includes it being Water Repellent and coming in various color codes of White, Blue black, white back and black with deep sea.
