Report: Apple to include stylus in next iPad
Though unannounced, this is not the first time we are hearing of Apple’s gigantic iPad Pro and even the rumored iPad Air Plus with a 12.2-inch display.
Now, the latest information reaching us suggests that Apple is going to borrow a leaf from arch-rivals Samsung who produces Galaxy Note tablets with stylus pens for pencil-like input. The Cupertino tech outfit will use this tech in the upcoming iPad Pro though usage on the iPad Air Plus isn’t ruled out.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI believes that “the stylus could improve the experience of users, however, and will likely help Apple develop specific customer groups such as the corporate sector and educational institutions.”
Asked if the pen will feature 3D writing capabilities, Kuo says that only future updates might include such, citing that Apple isn’t interested in this for now.
Meanwhile, the Apple iPad Pro is a rumored 12.9″ tablet with four stereo speakers and booting on a “hybrid” version of iOS with special Mac OS X features. The slate is believed to be housing Apple’s A8X processor and 2GB of RAM while measuring a waistline thickness of 7.5mm.
