Samsung ATIV SE quietly goes official

Samsung has unceremoniously released their new ATIV SE on the Verizon network.

The Samsung ATIV SE comes with a 5-inch AMOLED display with 441 PPI which sets the resolution at 1080p. It doesn’t run on the new Windows Phone 8.1 OS which was released few days ago, rather it has Windows Phone 8 with an upgrade to 8.1 promised.

Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor at 2.3GHz alongside 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 graphics processor. The ATIV SE has a 13MP camera unit, fully equipoed with flashlight and 2MP front0-facing camera at the front.

On Verizon, the device goes for $199.99 on a two year deal or $599.99 without the shackles of contract agreements.
