Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) starts getting security patch for January
There is a new update rolling out and it is headed for the units of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) out there. It comes in with a firmware version of XXS3BQA6 and it is hitting the units of Vodafone in Europe. From what we have heard, it brings along the security fix for the month of January.
We have no other information on whether there are additional packs in the update, but one thing is for sure – there would be some performance improvement and stability options in the update too. We urge you to use the comment box to tell us if there are any other things in the changelog that we have failed to cover.

This is an OTA update, and like every other one in the same shoes, it might take a while before it starts to hit your unit. If you are feeling impatient, you could just head over to the Settings Dashboard on your unit and manually request the update.
