Samsung Galaxy A9 could launch soon, sent to India for testing
HTC has gone the way of the A9 (with the One A9 recent launch) and Samsung is plying that road too (with an expected Galaxy A9). Some days ago, reports from India confirmed that Samsung was truly in the works to launch a device by the tag name of the Galaxy A9, having a model number of SM-A900.
The device was imported into India for testing on the 3rd and 4th of November and even though previous rumors have tried to affirm that we are in for a 5.5 inch of screen, the reports that are now surfacing on Zauba from India point towards and even more larger 6 inch screen on this device.
The shipping price for this device on the first day it entered the country (3rd November) was about $201 and the next day, shipping costs had climbed up some $50 dollars, bringing down the total November 4th shipping to $251. Knowing Samsung well and their ways of pricing, this device could sell for double that amount when launch is finally activated.
So far, we’ve heard rumors of the device coming at a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, running on an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 chipset with an octa-core processor whose operational frequency is clocked at 1.8GHz. That’s not all. The rumors also pointed to a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which could be expanded by the user.
