Samsung Galaxy Alpha coming to the UK this Friday at £549
Not just Canada, the United Kingdom will be getting the Samsung Galaxy Alpha this month, nay, this week. The “premium” smartphone will be sold for £549 in the UK starting from 12th September (Friday).
Carrier plans have not not been announced for the meta-clad smartphone but expect one or more UK mobile network operators to offer the device on contract.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha sports a 4.7″ 720p display, a 12MP/2.1MP camera unit, 2GB of RAM, Exynos 5 Octa 5430 quad-core CPU and a 1860mAh removable battery. The only downside on the phone is lack of a microSD card slot as Samsung decided to go the “Apple way” on the Galaxy Alpha.
