Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) launched in India
South Korean tech company, Samsung, has quietly launched the Galaxy J2 smartphone in India.
The tech company released the newest member of the J series in India and listed the specs on the smartphone to include a small, 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD resolution and a display resolution pegged at 540 x 960 pixels.
The device which sells for Rs. 7,390 comes with a quad-core Exynos processor clocked at a speed of 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and an onboard storage memory of 8GB.
The device comes with support for microSD card which allows for further memory expansion to as much as 128GB.
For optics, the device comes packing a 5MP camera on the rear panel and a 2MP camera on the front panel powered by a 2,000mAh battery.
Other connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Glonass, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The device has officially been made available in India across several retail stores.
