Samsung Galaxy J2 rumored with 4.5″ FWVGA display
The Samsung Galaxy J2 has been a hot topic of discussion recently. Since we heard that the Samsung Galaxy J1 successor was imported into India last month for R&D, we have always wanted to know about the full specs of the supposedly plastic-clad smartphone.
According to Sammobile who got tipped on the upcoming device, the Galaxy J2, adding to the 4.5-inch 480 x 854 pixels display we already know about, will house a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and 1.5GB of RAM clubbed with an Exynos 3475 SoC.
The smartphone is packing a microSD card slot even though you get 8GB of in-built storage by default. There’s a 5MP camera at the back, a 2MP selfie taker at the front, and the handset itself measures 136 x 69 x 8.3 mm while sporting a 2,000mAh battery for power.
The source said the Samsung Galaxy J2 will be booting on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, but there was no mention of the product’s launch date. Nonetheless, we suspect the handset will finally make it to the Indian market whenever it breaks cover.
