Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime and Galaxy Neo starts getting Jan security patch
For the users of the Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime, the South Korean OEM has started to roll out a new update and this one would bring the security patch on board.
Likewise, users of the Galaxy Grand Neo – otherwise known as Galaxy Grand Lite – would be getting a like update to their units but with different build numbers. For the former phone, the update would come as software version G532GDXU1AQA4 and drop as I9060CUBS0AQA1 for the latter unit.
For both units, this update is an OTA rollout and that means that it could take a while before you begin to get the notifications. This update would be released in batches and if you are feeling impatient, just head over to the Settings dashboard and manually request the package.
Asides from the security patch for the first month, we expect that there should be some improvement and performance updates in the package too. In the end, the stability should be increased too.
