Samsung Galaxy J5 rolls out in Germany
Samsung Germany has unveiled the South Korean phone maker’s midrange Galaxy J5 smartphone in Europe. The handset is now offered on sale by one of Germany’s leading network provider, Orange, at €235 for an unlocked model.
The Samsung Galaxy J5, sporting a 5-inch 720p display, was announced alongside the Galaxy J7 back in June. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-running smartphone houses a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera, and 2,600mAh battery inside its 7.9mm-thick body.
The handset comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with 1GB of RAM and expandable storage. Despite having a 16GB variant, the model Orange is offering in Germany packs only 8GB of storage but then there’s nothing much to worry about as both variants offer a microSD card slot for memory extension.
