Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, J5 Prime gets price cut
South Korean tech company, Samsung’s products, the Galaxy J7 Prime and the Galaxy J5 Prime have both witnessed a massive price cut in India.
Both smartphones which come into the market with pretty interesting specs were cut down in price by Rs. 2,000.
The information regarding the price cut was made available via Twitter as both smartphones with the 32GB ROM variant was reported to have been slashed by a Mumbia-based offline retailer, Mahesh Telecom.
The price cut however places the latest price of the Galaxy J7 Prime at Rs. 14,990 while the J5 Prime will now cost Rs. 12,990 as against the Rs. 16,990 and Rs. 14,990 each which they were offered for before the price cut.
For specs, the Galaxy J7 Prime comes into the market with a 5.5-inch Full HD screen with a 2.5D glass panel on top. Under the hood of the 1080p resolution device is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM with support for microSD card use for memory expansion to up to 256GB.
The device which runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box comes with a 13MP camera on the rear and an 8MP camera on the front.
The J5 Prime comes with a 5.0-inch display with 2GB of RAM under the hood paired with 32GB of ROM and for optics packs a 5MP sensor on the front and a 13MP camera on the back.
