Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime starts getting new update, brings on board the latest security patch
The users of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime have a new update which is being rolled out to them and before we get all excited here, what it does is just bring on board the latest security fix for Android, meaning your security level gets update as much as the month of February.
Arriving with a build number of G610FDDU1AQA2, the update might have other things that it touches in the changelog but since we do not have access to that, this is as much as we now about it.
According to some reports however, there is said to be some performance improving options in there too, and that is to be expected, alongside system stability updates too. Being an OTA rollout, the usual case of some time being taken for it to hit your unit still applies too.
Like we would always advise those that just can’t wait to get their hands on the update, just head over to the Settings dashboard of your device and manually request the update.
