Samsung Galaxy Note 5 launched in India
Admirers of Samsung Electronics’ latest phablet flagship, the adorable Samsung Galaxy Note 5, will be able to purchase their beloved product in India starting from today.
The Note 5 was launched at a press event in New Delhi on Monday. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, announced on the same day as the Note 5, was earlier introduced in the country last month.
In terms of pricing, each unit of the Galaxy Note 5, lacking a microSD card slot, is purely priced based on the memory capacity on board. A unit with 32GB of storage has an SRP (suggested retail pricing) of 53,900 rupees ($807) while the 64GB storage model goes for 59,900 Indian rupees ($896).
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 comes in black sapphire, gold platinum, and silver titanium color options, however, each model sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD Gorilla Glass 4 touchscreen, 4GB of RAM, 64-bit chipset, 16MP camera with OIS and 5MP secondary sensor, Samsung-modified Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and 3,000mAh non removable battery.
