Samsung Galaxy On8 launched in India with 3GB of RAM, possible Exynos chipset
There has been a massive expansion going on with Google these days and what they seem to be doing is adding more members to their newer families as fast as they can to quickly build them up. That we have been hearing of a Galaxy C9 in the making, a device in the “On” family saw its own launch today in India.
If you have been following the news for a while then you would know that we are talking about the Samsung Galaxy On8 and this comes at a very perfect time, given that we are still expecting the 2016 refreshes of both the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7.
Under the hood of this smartphone is an octa core processor but which one it really is, we don’t know yet. From the 1.6GHz that the device clocked though, we are thinking that what has been made use of is none other than an Exynos 7870. Considering other parts of the build, there is 3GB of RAM paired to an internal storage space of 16GB and for the camera, there is a 13MP unit on the back while the front is adorned with a 5MP shooter instead.
Running the Android Marshmallow out of the box, the handset which is powered by 3300mAh of battery can be purchased in colour variants of Gold, White or Black for INR 15990.
