Samsung Galaxy Round, new smartphone with flexible screen to be unveiled this week
Finally, a name (Samsung Galaxy Round) has been tagged to the unannounced Samsung smartphone with flexible display, the one we told you about. Yesterday, a phone with model number GT-I9118 got certified on Bluetooth.org, however, it is not yet clear if it was the same Samsung Galaxy Round that bears the model number GT-I9118.
Specs we are expecting of the Samsung Galaxy Round includes a 4.7-inch display with 720×1280-pixel resolution, a quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash. Samsung has officially said it will be releasing flexible-display phones this month but didn’t give us a date.However, a report from a Korean News outfit, Asiae, has suggested that Samsung will release the said phone as early as this week.
The device has been reported as to be running on Android 4.3 operating system.

A USPTO TSDR trademark has been assigned a device named ‘Samsung Galaxy Round’, as far back as September 30th, thanks to a document page on the USPTO website.
