Samsung Galaxy A Round smartwatch outed in details
Out of nowhere, a report on a new Samsung smartwatch that is said to be coming soon has popped out. To top it all, nobody was expecting a Samsung smartwatch at this time, but more interestingly, the story goes that the new smartwatch will debut alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
Allegedly dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A Round, Sammobile cited the wearable as packing a round 360 x 360 pixels touchscreen. The exact diagonals haven’t been noted but the watch appears to be carrying a controller in the form of a rotating crown – something we’ve discussed here sometime ago.
Powering the device is a specially-optimized Exynos 3472 processor with two CPU cores running at 1.2 GHz, a 450MHz Mali-400 MP4 graphics card and 768MB of RAM, alongside 4GB of storage and a 250mAh battery.
The wearable already sounds good on paper but that’s not all: It will come with a heartrate monitor, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, accelerator, gyro and barometer sensors, as well as a built-in Wi-Fi too (802.11n) antenna with Wi-Fi Direct features. We couldn’t confirm whether the watch will pack call functionality and a SIM slot like the Gear S.
