Samsung Galaxy S5 to follow fingerprint scanning trend
According to a report from Korea, the much talked about Samsung Galaxy S5 coming up this year will feature a fingerprint scanner on it’s home button.
Though rare, the fingerprint sensor trend is not unheard of, as Apple’s own iPhone 5s is already touting one all the way from it’s September 2013 release. HTC is another phone maker who adopted the trend. The HTC One Max, which is a direct competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 has one too, but the Taiwanese chose to place their own at the back of their smartphone.
Other information we have on the fifth generation of Samsung’s revolutionary Galaxy S lineup is a 5.2inch display and 3GB of RAM specs. We also told you of Samsung’s plans to include an iris scanner in the S5, but now, the idea seems to have been thrown out of the window.
