Samsung Galaxy S6 wireless charger arrives the United States, promises very fast charging
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is going to go live at Samsung Unpacked event coming up in a few days time. The buzz generated by this smartphone is so great that hardly anyone following up the mobile technology section doesn’t know about this smartphone despite it’s yet-to-be-announced status.
A few weeks ago, we reported that the smartphone will be coming with wireless charging technology built-in, no need for special charging casing or back cover and stuff. Right now, Samsung has shipped the wireless charging dock for the phone into the USA for approval by the Federal Communications Commission, FCC.
While you are thrilled that this phone will bear standalone wireless charging capability, more exciting news comes from the charger/dock. The listing shows the round charger bearing a 5v 2A rating and what this means is that devices will be charged very quickly with this charger.
The Galaxy S6 is coming on March 1. The Samsung flagship is expected to pack a 5.1″ QHD display with 3GB of RAM and aa 64-bit octa-core Exynos chipset powering the engine while a 16-megapixel OIS-enabled camera takes care of the photography.
