Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge get Samsung Cloud services, other features, with new update in India
The Italian versions of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge started to get an update around last week and we reported this here, weighing around some 70MB+. It seems that the same kind of update has been packaged for the Indian users of this smartphone and this would be weighing more as regards to data, coming at a size of about 150MB and more.
The improve in size is due to the fact that even though it comes with nearly the same changelog as that we saw in Italy, it also packs some additional bug fixes too.
To be specific, the update brings both devices up to speed as regards the availability of the recently announced Samsung Cloud service and also, a new Gallery App that first featured with the launch of the Galaxy Note 7.
This is not all though as the phone is brought to par with the security patch for Android and there are some improvements made as regard the consumption of power and performance improvements. There were some issues related to the torch feature and cover recognition too and for this, they have created fixes too.
This is an OTA update and you would need to wait for a while to get it on your device.
