With all the rumors pointing with iPhone 7 and the leaked termination of 3.5mm headphone jack, on the other hand with all of those rumors Samsung is also planning to refresh its lineup of flagship smartphones sooner.
While known that rumored Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge is set to launch sometime early 2016, the leaker Evan Blass took his Twitter with a quick note claiming that S7 devices will launch in U.S. Friday, March 11.
Samsung take the wraps off on its new smartphones next month, either February 21 at a dedicated special event or at Mobile World Congress to take place around February 22 and 25 in Barcelona. As to this case, there won’t be many surprises in the store given the number of leaks seen sprouting up this few months.
As we have detailed on our previous post, Galaxy S7 powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip and with 4GB RAM, 2560 x 1140 Quad HD display, base storage of 32GB, microSD support, improved battery life, 12MP camera on back along with a front facing 5MP camera, and, Android 6.01 Marshmellow as OS.
On software front, reports points out that S7 may incorporate a pressure sensitive display, paving way for more immersive touch based interface similar to Apple’s 3D Touch on its line of iPhone 6s devices.
