Samsung Galaxy S8+, and possible variant, leaks on Singapore support page
Samsung has been talking about their next flagship – the Galaxy S8 and its sibling, the S8+ – for a while now and the first time we would have something of an official confirmation towards the release date, we heard that the South Korean giant would be unveiling the phone at the MWC event that is already scheduled to hold this month.
However, to make sure that they do not repeat the kind of mistake that they made on the Note 7, they have decided to push back the release date a little bit. This, however, has not stopped the rumour mill from picking up new info on this unit day after day.
Today, there is a new leak and it is as official as leaks can get. On the official support page of Samsung in Singapore, the Samsung Galaxy S8 has been listed alongside the bigger option and this also confirms the naming convention on the big one to be S8+. Likewise, we have the S8+ listed as SM-G955 and on the same page, there is another one listed as SM-G955FD which could be the dual SIM option of the same big unit.
Since Evan Blass has gotten things right on this one, we think we can now trust him more that the next release in the Note series, the Galaxy Note 8, would have a model number of N950.
