Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Active specs revealed
South Korean OEM, Samsung, is known for making a rugged version of its Galaxy smartphones, something about the tech company’s concern for the more rugged users who wish to use its premium smartphones.
Samsung has however been hinted to be planning the possible release of the rugged version known as the Active series of the Galaxy Tab, the only glitch is that you may not see the device until later next year.
This comes following the release of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active smartphone which hit the market some weeks ago.
The Active variant of the smartphone has however been known to be released into the market exclusive to AT&T in the U.S.
Coming after the tech company was earlier in the year rumored to be working on a rugged tablet device, the Galaxy Tab Active 2, which is expected to come as a successor to the Galaxy Tab Active, the upcoming device has been spotted on benchmarking site.
According to GFXBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 will come into the market sporting an 8-inch tablet with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset running under the hood.
Paired with the processor is a RAM of 1.5GB and a variant which will come running on the Samsung owned Exynos 7870 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM.
For the optics, the device will come with an 8MP camera on the back panel and 5MP camera on the front running on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and powered by a 4,450mAh battery.
