Samsung Galaxy Tab 5 on the brink of breaking cover
It’s been long since we heard of Samsung tablets. Not really long but considered Samsung’s fame in bringing new things to the table every now and then, the Korean OEM ought to have released a new tablet in very recent times. However, things are getting refreshed as the phone maker is about to release the next generation Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Chinese electronic certification website TEENA has listed and approved two Samsung Galaxy Tab 5 devices during the course of last week. The two tablets were the 10.1″ and 8.0″ models of the series which was uncovered in a series of leaks not long ago.
Specs of both slates include a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of in-built storage (likely expandable). The camera job will be delivered by a 5MP main snapper and 2MP selfie taker. The 8″ device will have 1024 x 768.
Rumor has it that the slates will feature LTE support and the Galaxy Tab 5 8.0 will measure 208.4 × 137.9 × 7.4 mm and weigh 338 grams. While we can’t pin-point the exact dates for the release of these devices, we sense their arrival are very close citing the TEENA approval.
