Samsung is currently working on another refresh of the Galaxy A5
It seems that there is a thing with Samsung, and it is that they just can’t stop themselves when it comes to manufacturing smartphones. We have already seen the Galaxy A5 and then again, went on to witness the launch of the 2016 version of this same device.
The year is not even over yet and already, we are looking at what could be another refresh of this same smartphone. It has on it a model number of SM-A520F and this latest one would be a good upgrade over the old siblings, featuring a better and faster Exynos chipset and adding one extra gig of RAM.
It is very likely that the camera won’t be left out of the upgrade also with a possible 16MP configuration on both the rear and front of the smartphone. Also, remember that we saw a 2900mAh battery on the 20166 refresh of this same smartphone? Well, an extra 100mAh wouldn’t be so bad and we would be seeing the new one carry a 300mAh unit instead.
Not scheduled to launch till very late in this year or at the turn of the calendar page to a new year, we are expecting it to run the Marshmallow according to benchmark reports but it could go on to work with a Nougat instead by the time of release.
