Samsung products officially get price cuts in India
Samsung has decided to reduce the prices of some of it’s smartphones in India. For example, the price of the company’s recently-released Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT has been reduced to Rs 6,620. Same was done for the Galaxy Star Advance which now goes for Rs 6,790.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo and the Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo also got price slashes as they are now available at a subsidized price of Rs 13,668 and Rs. 26,200, with both having being released at Rs 18,450 and Rs 29,570 respectively. Price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo was, in the same light, cut down to Rs 24,378 from Rs 29,570.
Samsung didn’t say exactly what brought about the price slashes but the company is reportedly facing declining sales due to the growing presence of local manufacturers and Chinese brands like Xiaomi who offer devices at very lower prices than that of Samsung smartphones.
